Halloween Spooktacular!

Posted on

Looking for something fun to do for Halloween, well the Downtown Development Authority is hosting the annual Trick-or-treating, as well as Trunk-or-treating on October 28th. Beginning at 5pm, the Trick-or-treating will be held around participating businesses on Ashmun Street and Portage Ave. Spots are not limited for trick-or-treating, but they are for the Trunk-or-treating so if you're looking to participate and need to register, contact Jessica Johnston by her email at jjohnston@clmcaa.com.

After Trick-or-treating, there will be the first Annual Parade of Frights at 6:30pm sponsored by Lock City Home Center. The parade will include three different types of entries: floats, individuals walking, as well as businesses walking in the parade. There will be lots of fun filled events like contests, prizes for each category, and last but not least lots of candy will be thrown! In case anyone needs to have a "quiet zone" for themselves or family members it will be located on the first block of the parade starting on Portage Ave.

If you still need to register for the parade go to the Lock City Lumber website and complete the form located on their home page. Then they will need to be submitted to Jessica at the email listed above.
